Fresh Turmeric & Ginger Golden Dressing with Miso

I am all about whole bowls and interesting dressings! Knock-your-socks-off GOOD FOR YOU dressing with fresh turmeric, ginger and garlic. If you feel under the weather THIS immune boosting dressing will feel like a much needed boost you need.

I am always looking at ways to sneak in more nutrition, fibre and things I think my gut would love, like TURMERIC!

Fresh turmeric is beneficial for health due to its high concentration of curcumin, a potent antioxidant and anti-inflammatory compound. Consuming fresh turmeric may help reduce inflammation, alleviate symptoms of arthritis, and support overall immune function. Additionally, incorporating fresh turmeric into your diet may contribute to improved digestion and may have protective effects against certain chronic diseases.

Fresh or Powder Turmeric?

Did you know that fresh turmeric contains less curcumin than turmeric powder? However fresh has more fiber and moisture compared to turmeric powder. While fresh turmeric may retain some water-soluble vitamins and minerals, turmeric powder is more concentrated in curcumin, the primary bioactive compound which makes it a wonderful (and more nutritious) alternative to fresh turmeric.

Fresh GINGER offers numerous health benefits, thanks to its rich antioxidant and anti-inflammatory properties. Consuming fresh ginger may help alleviate nausea, aid digestion, and reduce muscle pain and soreness. Additionally, incorporating fresh ginger into your diet may support immune function and contribute to overall well-being.

MISO is fermented soybeans and I like to use the white variety in dressings, feel free to use the brown (easier to find) instead.
